Not a replacement for veggies.
Pros: Good acceptance, tastes good, easy to find
Cons: Won't help in getting your birds to accept fresh foods

I think these are a great idea for the finicky bird - getting them to try new things are always the hardest. However, I don't think that people should get the idea that this is a replacement for fresh fruits and veggies, which it is NOT. This can be served alone in a bowl of its own, or mixed into the regular diet. My birds still prefer fresh veggies to this though, and I'm sure the nutritional values in fresh is much high. This is a good idea to get your bird trying new things though.
